Buffalo Horn

Horn and bone is incredibly lightweight and therefore comfortable enough to be worn on a daily basis. Additionally, it is a completely natural material, which is known to help reduce the odour and 'gunk' associated with stretched ears. Here at Paradox, our horn and bone ear jewellery is a by-product of Water Buffalo that has already been killed for food; in many cultures across the world, it is believed that by using the whole animal, that the animal is being honoured more fully than if these by-products were going to waste. Horn and bone are porous materials and may absorb moisture, so it is best to remove these pieces whilst showering, bathing or swimming to avoid weakening or cracking the jewellery.
