Stretched piercings originated independently in ancient civilisations (including but not limited to South American, African and Polynesian cultures), and have steadily grown in popularity ever since, particularly in the western world. Traditional jewellery for stretched lobes is made from natural materials such as wood, horn, bone and stone, but here at Paradox we also carry a variety of silicone, acrylic, glass and steel, catering to modern styles as well as classic ones.
