Septum
The septum piercing, or 'bull-ring' piercing, goes straight through the very thin tissue (the 'sweet spot') in between the nostrils, just above the line of cartilage there. The septum piercing is one of the most popular piercings among tribes throughout the world, and its history can be traced back to Native Americans, Indians and Bengalis, as well as some African Tribes; in recent years in western cultures, the septum piercing has been adopted as a rite of passage for those in the alternative community, as well as for other people who want a piercing that is attractive, versatile and easily hidden. Jewellery options for the septum include traditional circular barbells (horseshoes), full rings for a subtle and seamless look, or sparkly clickers for a statement piece - here at Paradox we have them all!
