Titanium, named after the Titans (strong, mythological Greek giants), is 3 times stronger than steel and twice as strong as aluminium. G23 Titanium is non-toxic, lightweight (lighter than steel), biocompatible and hypoallergenic; this means that it is the perfect material for your piercings (fresh or healed), even if the wearer has experienced allergic reactions from certain metal jewellery in the past. Additionally, titanium can be safely coated using PVD, and anodised to a spectrum of different colours using electrolysis; this actually changes the surface colour of the metal (as opposed to coating it), without altering the jewellery's level of biocompatibility.
